As most of you may know, i love stats ;) And here are some statistics over all current and previous JoomLeague versions. Just some hard facts what has been done and what is maybe on the road to an upcoming milestone.
Especially these emotional days is it necessary to thank every developer and of course our testers for their really hard work and patience on the project the past months! Without our core team would it be not possible to handle this large code base. I know that life changes over the years and sometimes is it time to take a step back and relax. Nothing more is important than a balanced social life and our families! So a big thanks goes to all our personal supporters ;-)
It took me a while to figure out all problems on the server and i am confident that i have resolved most of the outstanding problems on the page. I have decided to redirect to the forum in fullscreen after the page login because our forum is more important than anything else on the page, except the download section of course. If you do not want to discuss with us, just hit the browsers back button or your site bookmark and your are on the main site again, hopefully still logged in. Give me feedback if you think that this is a bad behaviour and i will change it again to something else ;)
And just a personal remark: There were over 30000(!!!) downloads from the download section, which is really a good amount for an open source product like JoomLeague, BUT just a few users found the donation button. Nevertheless a special thanks to everyone who supported the project with a small donation to keep the server alive!
I have spent many, many hours this year to get JoomLeague on track with all the new Joomla Releases since 1.x till 2.5.x now and now is it time to get something back from our great community to keep my motivation. I ask everyone here to send me a postcard, letter or anything else (pls no bombs ;) ) or some snow flakes ;) to my post office. I would really love to read some user stories how JoomLeague worked for you in the past and what needs to be done in the future! Why a postcard or letter? That´s just simple explained: I will be offline a few days over christmas and new year (btw my birthday is on 1.1. ) and i have alot of time to read something offline :P So don´t hesitate to write crazy things to make me laugh ;)
Merry Christmas and a happy new year 2013 to you and your family!
